About Clean Fuel Injectors

At Fuel Injectors Inc, we’ve been involved with clean fuel injectors since before the last car, the Subaru Justy.

The Problem (The Opportunity)

Over time, fuel injectors get dirty. The tiny nozzles that regulate the fine mist of fuel to each cylinder become gummed or varnished. Detergent additives help, however, the introduction of ethanol to fuel has compounded the problem. As a result, poor injector performance reduces engine performance. Symptoms range from poor starting and rough idling to loss of power and reduced mileage. Gas tank additives designed to clean fuel injectors while you drive provide limited to no positive results.

The Solution (Your Opportunity)

A specially designed diagnostic machine that uses ultrasonics can test, recondition, and optimize most fuel injectors to their original output. As a result, spray patterns and flow rates are fully restored. Injectors that have suffered serious and long-term neglect can be reconditioned with this machine and a few inexpensive parts.

Until recently, the machines used to test and recondition fuel injectors have been prohibitively expensive. Therefore, the start-up costs to provide this service were steep. However, Fuel Injectors, Inc. machines are the new alternative. Based on the same principles, and engineered to the same exacting specifications as their expensive counterparts, clean fuel injectors machines allow you to offer this necessary and profitable service at a fraction of the typical start-up cost.

The Process

• Test the injectors – First, verify the root cause of engine problems. Based on the results, determine if ultrasonic cleaning is necessary.
• Clean fuel injectors for best results – a typical charge of $25-$40 per injector (most makes) should be sufficient to test and recondition.
• Test new or reconditioned fuel injectors and confirm that all injectors are within tolerance; avoid engine damage caused by even new injectors that are out of spec.
• Provide your customer with a full report generated by the software that shows each injector’s performance before and after testing and optimization.

Here’s what our customers have to say:

Dear Scott,
I wanted to thank you again, here is my story, please share it with your customers. The Skeeter 22T Bay was stored for about 5 years and seldom started. The ethanol gas E10 eventually went bad and everything it touched was inoperable and the 2000 Yamaha 225 VMax would start but not run.

In addition to maintenance parts like filters, hoses, spark plugs, deep creep seafoam, o2 sensor, etc., I replaced the lift pumps, check valves, and high-pressure fuel pump. On it went, finally running, but at barely an idle. Obviously, it was running too lean and something more was needed. Expecting to purchase 6 injectors was another blow.

I was glad to find Fuel injectors Inc.; your injector cleaning system was amazing. The injectors were removed and inspected and found to be inoperable, not activating. After the injectors were serviced immediately, the Yamaha ran at a perfectly balanced and clean idle.

On the water, load testing proved we were again making great power throughout the entire rpm range. A month and 25 hours later, the engine is dialed-in like new. The fuel injectors were repaired, the boat runs like new, and I saved money. Injector cleaning is now added to my maintenance routine and checklist. I highly recommend others to do the same.

Servicing fuel injectors is the best way I’ve found to increase my bottom line. It’s a useful service for the customer and unlike an oil change, the results can be noticed immediately.

Fuel injectors are $150 plus a piece to replace. With my machine, I can recondition them to factory specs for about $30 each. I make money, the customer saves money and the car runs like new again. Unbelievable!
— Brian W, Roanoke VA

Thanks, Scott, you were patient in pointing out a few tweaks I had to make in my setup and it made all the difference. Getting started isn’t all that hard but it helps to have an expert on the other end of the phone.
